Owning and operating an Inn has been the full time career of Your Hosts, Saray and James for nearly two years. Originally from the corporate world, inn keeping seemed like a very appealing lifestyle and challenging venture.

In 2021, the couple moved to Sumter from Maryland and converted this beautiful Old Estate into what locals refer to as the “White House”. Saray is a Personal Chef, Caterer, and Recipe Developer. James retired in 2021 as an executive law enforcement officer. He served in the U.S. Navy, and owns a private investigation agency.

Saray and James are the proud parents of two sons which they raised in 5 states. Their oldest is a police officer after graduating from college. Their youngest, also a college graduate, is an U.S. Air Force Airman. Both majored in Criminal Justice.
