This was a wonderful place to stay. The accommodations were wonderful. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. They adjusted the breakfast time to meet my schedule. The breakfast was amazing and delicious with a New Orleans flare. The house and property were beautiful. I chose to have my own apartment and it was very comfortable. If you need a place to stay in Sumter, SC you would enjoy Creole Dame. I wish I had more time to spend in Sumter at Creole Dame.
Loved absolutely everything about this place. The residence and room we stayed in were beautiful. The breakfasts each morning were unique and delicious. The bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect for what we needed. The hosts were amazing. There was nothing not to like. Hosts went above and beyond. We will come back here every time we are in Sumpter.
The house and property were simply amazing. The mural in the Dining room is unforgettable. We enjoyed a wonderful conversation with the owners over the most delicious breakfast. We would definitely same again. Alvoyd and Jackie.

This was my first time staying at Creole Dame bed-and-breakfast but it will definitely not be my last. I come up to Sumter on a frequent basis and have stayed in a couple of hotels and one other B&B but this was by far the best experience I have had. From the exterior it’s a beautiful house with a yard filled with pine and magnolia with nice sitting areas that I did not take advantage of this time. Inside it is really artistic and gave me a feeling of a mix of old Charleston, Savannah, and New Orleans. I was in the Jason Demitri room, which was very nice with a comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. I had a tour of the house and the other rooms were equally nice except the room with the king-size bed and fireplace which was really beautiful. But the best part of my stay were two excellent breakfasts...I liked the low volume southern/Delta blues music in the background while looking around the beautiful dining room and living room. Good coffee, too!
